The municipality is organized into an administration with four sectors. The Support Functions sector includes, among other things, finance, personnel, administration, communication, cleaning, and meals. The mission of the support functions is to facilitate and streamline operations.

The Service Function - a gateway for the municipality's operations. From 260101, it consists of meal and cleaning operations.

The Service Function, with its approximately 140 employees, has the mission to provide the best possible service to the municipality's administration and operations based on needs, demand, and requests. We actively work to increase our dialogue and meet in various forums. Meal service mainly consists of providing the municipality's meals within preschool, school, and care. We are responsible for the preparation, transport, and serving of meals to preschools, primary schools, after-school care, high schools, elderly care, and special accommodations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a chef, your tasks include planning menus and purchases, making orders, cooking good food from scratch, and working according to a good structure, logistics, and economic awareness. Following self-control programs for safety and quality in production and actively working with sustainability, such as reducing food waste, is a given.

We are looking for YOU who want to work as a chef in one of our kitchens in preschool or school. You prepare food for our children, students, and staff. You have knowledge and experience of both regular food, adapted diets, and special diets. As a chef, you are responsible for the preparation, cooking, and delivery of high-quality dishes. You are involved in the entire process from planning to composting. We strive to cook as much food as possible from scratch. We want to contribute to reducing environmental impact and therefore strive for a sustainable working method.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, Monday to Friday. We apply a 6-month probationary period. You do not work weekends or public holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a chef's education and at least 5 years of experience in the profession.

You can express yourself well in both speech and writing. Good computer skills are a requirement. A B driver's license is a requirement.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in a kitchen focused on preschool/primary school.
